I hope your summer is going well. Seattle had a record-breaking heat wave this past weekend—over 100 degrees for several days, which we are not used to in the Pacific Northwest. In fact, many people don’t even have air conditioning, so local communities had cooling centers where people could come to get out of the heat. Fortunately, we do have AC, so I just holed up inside and wrote.
Marvin, my backyard bear, didn’t seem to sweat the heat at all.
