Dear Reader,

Susan Mallery All Access – Connect with Susan in a Private Group

Cover reveal! Happily Inc, the wedding destination town founded on a fairy tale, is about to inspire two more happy-ever-afters—Why Not Tonight and Not Quite Over You. You can see the gorgeous, wildly romantic covers of these two books at I adore them! I'm especially excited that Natalie's wearing her trademark red glasses, proving that men do make passes at girls who wear glasses. At least, Ronan Mitchell does.

Visit now!

While you're there, be sure to check out the Weddings page to read the wedding stories of Pallas and Nick from You Say It First and Carol and Mathias of Second Chance Girl. I intend to write a wedding story for every couple who falls in love in Happily Inc so that you can attend every wedding. The bonus content at is my gift to every reader who loves the wedding destination town founded on a fairy tale.

On July 10 at 7 pm, I'll be at Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park, WA to celebrate the release of When We Found Home—my only planned 2018 public appearance! I'll do a little chat, a Q&A, and give away some fun door prizes, and then we'll start the book signing. I'll happily sign all books purchased from Third Place Books, but out of respect for the bookstore, we ask readers not to bring books from home. Refreshments will be provided.

SUSAN MALLERY ALL ACCESS – Connect with me in a private group

Facebook is changing, making it harder and harder to see friends’ posts, so I’ve decided to start a private group to help me better stay in touch with my readers. In the group, I’ll give readers a more intimate glimpse into my writing life. I might share a page from a book I’m writing. I might tell you about things that are inspiring me as I plot. (Right now, I’m working on next summer’s standalone.) I might tell you about title and cover discussions with Harlequin. If that sounds interesting to you, please click the link below to join, and be sure to introduce yourself so I can say hi!

I'm always really touched when a mother-daughter duo attends one of my book signings or events. What a special thing, to share not only a love of reading with your mom or your daughter, but a love of reading the same books.

Mother's Day is less than three weeks away, and I have a couple of gift ideas for you.

1. A signed copy of Sisters Like Us or Secrets of the Tulip Sisters.

First, check your local Target store to see if they have any of the limited edition signed copies of Sisters Like Us on the shelves. You can also buy it online from Target here.

Or if you'd like to buy it somewhere else or gift Secrets of the Tulip Sisters instead, email my assistant at to ask for an autographed bookplate that you can put into the book before you give it to your mom or daughter. She'll send it to you from Texas, so allow enough time.

2. A personalized video shout-out from me.

Get the free Starsona app from, and request a personal video shout-out from me. The cost is $10. All of my proceeds go directly to Seattle Humane.

This is not a one-size-fits-all video. There's a place in the app where you can input the recipient's name and anything special you'd like me to say. ("Mom, you're going to be a grandmother!" would be super fun.)

The app will notify you when the video's ready. You can download it and save it to your device, and then you can post it on Facebook or Instagram, email it, text it, put it on the big screen at your next family reunion… whatever you want.
